Star Wars Cereal Boxes

I don’t think I’d want to eat those “grape-hutts”.  (via thedailywhat):

Star Wars Swag of the Day: These Star Wars-themed mini cereal boxes by Gus Lopez and co. will be handed out as party favors to fans attending the Star Wars Celebration V Collecting Panels. [superpunch.]

The Thundercats Redux?

Another remake, reboot, whatever you want to call it? (discovered via thedailywhat):

First Look of the Day, Too: Warner Bros. Animation announced today that it has teamed up with Cartoon Newtork for a revival of the much-loved 1980s animated series ThunderCats. The updated cartoon “will sport a heavy anime look, thanks to Warner Bros. Animation’s collaboration with Japan’s Studio4°C” (see promo pic above). No word on an official premiere date, but the show is expected to begin airing sometime in 2011. [variety.]

Cloak Camera Bag

Cloak Camera Bag

An interesting idea for a camera bag. Too bad it only comes in white. (discovered via photojojo):

The Cloak Camera Bag: a shoot-through satchel with a zippered bottom for toting SLRs incognito. Your camera never leaves the bag so you’ll never miss a shot again. Pairs well with stick-on moustaches, shoe phones, and crime solving.

Japan - The Strange Country

Japan-The Strange Country (English translated ver.) from Kenichi Tanaka on Vimeo.

This Is Informative, You Should Watch It of the Day: Graphic designer Kenichi Tanaka’s animated infographic “Japan — The Strange Country” covers everything you wanted to know about Japan, but were too busy warbling along to the Cowboy Bebop closing credits song to ask.

[discovered via thedailywhat who found it via feingut.]

Update 2: Looks like the video has been taken down. I found it (here)[www.youtube.com/watch though. Update: For some reason, Kenichi had to take down the English version of the video. It’s still available on YouTube here.

Looks as if IKEA did a minor upgrade to a few Paris Metro stations. I wonder how dirty the furniture was after a week. (via Urlesque)

Mesmerizing Isn't?

Dogs at 1000 FPS

It’s dogs in slow-mo-catching treats. What could be better?
